Join us in celebrating America’s 250th birthday with a spectacular day of pageantry, honoring the greatest nation on earth! This year, we’re making history by selecting titleholders to commemorate this milestone, as well as representatives for the River Rec and Firecracker titles.

The River Rec Queen's Pageants, which began in 1968 and ran until 2001, are now revived under the expert leadership of Pat Miller, a professional pageant director with over 40 years in Gallia County. This event promises fun and excitement for everyone involved!

Our royalty will have the chance to visit various fairs and festivals, all while honing their social and public speaking skills. The Gallipolis River Rec Festival Pageants empower contestants to build self-confidence and prepare for a bright future.

Pageants will be held prior to the festival at the stunning Ariel Opera House in downtown Gallipolis. We want our contestants to compete in a comfortable, weather-friendly environment that their guests will enjoy. Admission tickets for guests will be available for purchase starting May 1 and can be bought by clicking the links below. 

Contestants will compete based on their grade as of May 1 of the pageant year.
