Why River Rec Pageants?

Our pageants offer a unique platform for women to gain invaluable skills and experiences. We focus on comprehensive development, ensuring every participant emerges more confident, articulate, and prepared for future successes. 

Our pageant offers participants in our communities and surrounding towns the opportunity to represent our July 4 River Recreational Festival at many other fairs and festivals across the tri-state area. We offer personal interview, speaking, and modeling workshops to prepare each participant for the pageant.

Empowering women

Pageantry with River Rec Pageants gives women unparalleled interview and public speaking skills, along with endless opportunities for growth and leadership. Our program is specifically designed to aid women with their future goals and ambitions, setting them on a path for success.

A supportive community

For friends and family, you will be able to watch her show grace and confidence on stage and observe her mature and grow as she prepares for future leadership roles and employment possibilities. We also help our contestants build life-long friendships, making this a truly rewarding experience for all.

River Rec 411

Winners will receive a beautiful crown, custom sash, and additional awards and gifts. Our participation fee is only $75 and should be paid online by May 1, which is the deadline for both registering and paying of the fee. Additional participants will be accepted May 2 through May 25, but with a $25 late filing fee. Participants may acquire sponsors to cover their fee or pay it themselves.

Contestants should have graduated high school and be at least 19 to 39 years of age; single, married, widowed, or divorced. Contestants should be in good moral standing within their community and have current or pending law convictions.

Two queen titles will be awarded, Ms. America River Rec and Ms. River Rec. The number of runners up for the Queen's Court will be determined by the number of contestants in the pageant or as voted on by the contestants in the pageant. There are no residential requirements to participate in the pageant.

Winners are required to participate in the upcoming River Rec Festival Parade and the Gallipolis in Lights Christmas Parade. Our committee will provide a parade float for the River Rec Festival Parade and winners are responsible for providing their own transportation for the Gallipolis in Lights Parade and any other events they attend. Winners may attend other area fairs and festivals at their leisure. All winners and court members are expected to show professional, positive, and good manners at any and all events and on any social media accounts.
